DESCRIPTION
The Project "Technology for the Sustainable Water Resource Governance" is a 4 year project (2015-2018), funded by the Canadian Foreign Affairs Directorate (GAC), with the objective that communities affected by drought in the corridor Northwestern Nicaragua have access to technology to improve their community management of water systems, improve communication with local authorities and advocate for their rights to water. . Specifically, it aims to: a) Improve the forms of expression for change actors, b) Improve security and access to justice for change actors, and c) Human rights organizations strengthen their interaction capabilities. with the Social Media.
To contribute to the achievement of these objectives, MEL International Consulting has been contracted to carry out the following tasks:
1. Develop the strategy of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning of the entire intervention
2: Offer remote advice and training to the team of the local SIMAS implementing organization related to the implementation of the MEL-SA strategy.
3: Compile, consolidate and develop MEL-SA progress reports on a bi-monthly basis, including beneficiary counts
4: Design, conduct and write the baseline study for the project
5: Capitalize on genuine processes developed within the framework of the project (with emphasis on lessons learned and the protection of vulnerable groups), as well as the collection of success stories.
6: Support through inputs MEL-SA in the processes of accountability to partners and donors, as well as the rest of processes of accountability towards change actors.
